Benefits of Gir Gomata Ghee

Bilvam (Jaganmaata) Herbal’s Gir Gomata (cow) Ghee is made from Gir Gomatas (popular desi breed of cows of Gujarat, India) owned by my Guruji Shri. Dandapani Sastri gaaru. These Gomatas are sheltered at a Goshala (cow shelter) in Nadiad district, Gujarat and are being taken care of by Shri. Ravi Bhai.

Gir Gomata is an exotic breed that gives more milk in comparison to other native cow breeds of India. Another speciality of Gir cow is its hump. The hump of this breed carries specific veins known as Surya Ketu Nadi. The function of this vein is to absorb energy from sun rays, moon and other luminous bodies. This energy is then later on transferred to the cow’s products such as Milk, Urine, and Dung.

Therefore milk and other products such as ghee, gomayam (dung), gomutram (urine) are all considered sacred and used during all the major homams (fire sacrifice) and rituals in India. Lighting lamp (deepam) using Gir Gomata’s ghee is considered to be the most auspicious ritual during Sarannavaratri (Oct-Nov), Vasant Navaratri (March-Apr), Kaartika (Nov), Dhanurmasam (Dec-Jan), Magham (Feb).
